This is a skill-building program to include basic sewing skills including threading machine, sewing, fabric basics, cutting, measuring, using simple patterns and more. Students will create projects including pillow, scrunchie, plushie, basic shirt, pajama shorts, totebag, zipper bag and more. Some projects (shirt, shorts) may require 2-3 yards of fabric to be purchased outside of class.

Makeup classes: It is essential participate in each class to learn new skills. Attendance is a requirement. We offer one makeup class held November 7, 2026 or December 12 or 19, 2026. Alternative dates for makeup classes can be purchased for $50 a class.

Students will create more challenging and complex projects including beanie hat, reversible totebag, leggings, letter pillows, slippers and more. Some projects (leggings, clothing items) may require 2-3 yards of fabric to be purchased outside of class. 🔄 Makeup Class Policy: WSC deems emergencies on a case-by-case basis. Emergencies include related death in family, contracting a contagious illness or injury to Client or Client's family members. In this case rescheduling services is appropriate. Client must reach out to Creative Consultant in a timely manner (24 hours before seminar or workshop start time.)

Equipment

• Having a sewing machine at home is preferred

• Instructor available to assist with purchasing a standard-sized sewing machine

Additional Information

• Optional Homework assignments will be given, however, regular practice is essential for progress.

• Masks are not required but preferred.

• Arrive 5 minutes early to set up your sewing machine.
