Kids Design & Sewing Summer Camps
Join us for our 4th year of exciting and creative summer camps where children will delve into the art of sewing and design projects.

CAMP SCHEDULE & ACTIVITIES:
Week 1-Oh, Baby It’s Sleepwear Week (hand sewing, eye mask, pajama shorts, headband, slippers, bonnet and more)
Week 2-Room Decor Week (hand sewing, pocket pillow, sewn supply box, plushie, drawstring bag, mini blanket and more)
Week 3-Fashion and More Week (hand sewing, crossbody bag, upcycled shirt, jewelry, rings, headband, apron and more)
Week 4-Sustainable Week (Upcycled patchwork tote bag, scrappy zipper pouch, fabric covered notebooks, eye masks, scrunchies, upcycled aprons, and more)
OTHER ITEMS:
Learn To Sew on a Sewing Machine. Take Home Craft/Design Projects. Take-Home Skills Notebook, Hand Sewing 101.
Projects may change based on student choice. Student may bring 1 yard of cotton fabric choice if desired! All supplies will be provided.
Daily Schedule:
10 AM- Morning Meeting & Daily Schedule Rundown
10:15 AM-Design Techniques Project (Hand sewing, etc)
10:45 AM-Project Concept #1-Design Project of the Day
11:15 AM-Lunch/Snack Break/Clean Up
11:30 AM-Project Concept #2 and Sewing
2:00 PM- Dismissal
• 👥 Minimum Participants: 4
There are NO Refunds for camp fees. Children unable to attend camp due to severe illness may exchange their missed week for another available week of camp. You are required to provide a valid doctor’s note. Tuition is not reimbursed for closures due to natural disasters or situations out of camp control.

• Free digital sewing resources.
• Led by instructors with over 20 years of sewing experience.
• In-class Sewing machines, sewing tools and some fabrics are included. Feel free to bring 1 yard of cotton fabric for first project.
•No prior experience required—just an open mind!
CAMPER BEHAVIOR EXPECTATIONS
Campers will:
Display good character, follow the instructions of WSC staff, and respect all staff.
Respect the facility, which includes picking up after themselves and refraining from destroying property.
Fighting, cursing, and offensive behavior is NOT acceptable. WSC reserves the right to expel a student from camp IMMEDIATELY for offensive, unsafe or disrespectful behaviors to staff, fellow campers, and the facility WITHOUT REFUND.
