Design & Sewing Kids Summer Camps

Join us for an exciting and creative summer camp where children will delve into the art of sewing and design projects.

Times: 10:00 AM-3:00 PM

Cost: $305

Week 1: June 17-21, 2024

Week 2: June 24-28, 2024

Week 3: July 15-19, 2024

Week 4: July 22-26, 2024

NEW! HALF WEEK Option is available!

Monday-Wednesday of each camp week! Times for Half Week Option are 10 AM-1 PM! Cost is $150. Daily Rate is available also inquire within!

Ages: 8-16 years old. Minimum 5 campers or session will be rescheduled!

Location of camp:(Push Push Arts, College Park, GA).

Child will need to bring a lunch and snack and drink daily.

Week 1: Design/Create your own sleepwear

Week 2: Design/Develop Recycled Summer Gear

Week 3: Mood Boards & Bag Creations

Week 4: Plushies, Pillows & Headgear

Projects may change based on student choice. Student may bring 1 yard of cotton fabric choice if desired! All supplies will be provided.

Learn To Sew on a Sewing Machine. On-Site Artist Visit Field Trip. Take Home Craft/Design Projects. Take-Home Skills Notebook

Daily Schedule:
10 AM- Morning Meeting & Daily Schedule Rundown
10:15 AM-Design Techniques or Review or Learn to Sew Session
10:45 AM-Project Concept #1-Design Project of the Day
12:30 PM-Lunch/Snack Break/Clean Up
1:00 PM- Half Day Dismissal

1:10 PM-Design Techniques #2-Project or Concept of the Day
2:40 PM-Afternoon Review & Rundown & Cleanup
3:00 PM-Dismissal

There are NO Refunds for camp fees. Children unable to attend camp due to severe illness may exchange their missed week for another available week of camp or credit towards kid’s workshop on future dates. You are required to provide a valid doctor’s note. Tuition is not reimbursed for closures due to natural disasters or situations out of camp control.

CAMPER BEHAVIOR EXPECTATIONS

Campers will:

  • Display good character, follow the instructions of WSC staff, and respect all staff.

  • Respect the facility, which includes picking up after themselves and refraining from destroying property.

  • Fighting, cursing, and offensive behavior is NOT acceptable. WSC reserves the right to expel a student from camp IMMEDIATELY for offensive, unsafe or disrespectful behaviors to staff, fellow campers, and the facility WITHOUT REFUND.
